"He Lives" Christian Earrings - Cross made from Red Lip Heishi beads on gold or silver teardrop wire with dark red Garnet bead below, swinging from gold or silver plated Surgical Steel earring wires.

"Heishi" literally means "shell", and when correctly used it specifically refers to pieces of shell which have been drilled and ground into beads and then strung into necklaces. It is most closely associated with the native Pueblo Indians of Santo Domingo and San Felipe.

The process of making these beads is highly skilled and laborious, but the results are a triumph of mind over matter. These lovely little natural beads are a delight to work with and wear.
